STEP 03EDUCATION
Terminal fluency
Shell as primary interface — pipelines, permissions, processes.
OVERVIEW
Shifted from “open a terminal when needed” to terminal-first work: navigation, pipelines, permissions, and process control as daily habits.
WHAT I DID
- Used shell for files, search, and system info every day
- Learned pipelines and redirection by solving real tasks
- Practiced permissions and process management until it felt natural
HOW I LEARNED
Forced the terminal for tasks that GUIs could do — slower at first, faster later.
