BlackArch became the security lab daily driver — same Arch base, with a large, organized security toolkit for learning in controlled environments.
WHAT I DID
- Set BlackArch as the lab OS for scanning, traffic analysis, and audit practice
- Explored tool categories without running tools blindly
- Kept lab work isolated from personal systems
HOW I LEARNED
Pair every tool with a methodology note: what it does, when to use it, and lab-only rules.
Updates and hygiene matter as much as the tools themselves.
